Great addition to a classic

I bought a used 1976 4001 from a local newspaper ad back in the mid-1980's (this was pre-internet) & it was missing the pickup cover - pretty cherry other than that. Went 25+ years without it - just decided to buy this while I was shopping for parts for my 1975 430 which I was refurbishing & it fits perfectly & makes the old girl look like new again. OK - it's plastic, but it works. Great service & I had the parts a few days after I placed the order.

What a disappointment

Didn't realize this part is plastic. I expected more from Rickenbacker. For what it is this part is worth about $5.00 not $41 and change.

This Rickenbacker Bridge Pickup Handrest Cover made my 4003s (which was purchased here at "Pick Of The Ricks") complete in that it made the bass easier for me to play, and gave it back that classic "Rickenbacker Look". (the previous owner had removed this part from the bass)

A perfect fit

We recently got a 1977 4001 in near perfect shape. The only thing missing was the pickup cover. We ordered one from POTR. It arrived promptly and fit perfectly. Very high quality, and the bass looks gorgeous. Thanks so much for the great service.
