I ordered this to replace a dead bridge pickup in my 1975 4001 Rick after missing out on a vintage replacement on ebay. Although the horseshoe was not original equipment for my model/year, I always liked the look and decided to go for it since the price was right and the delivery time was very quick. It installed easy and sounds great. Since I typically play directly over the bridge pickup the non-removable horseshoe cover is taking a little getting used to, but I knew that when I bought it, so I'll just have to adjust a little. Definitely a great replacement pickup, especially if you usually play with the cover on.
