Changed brand of strings and it messed up the spacing. These were what I needed to correct the problem. I will continue to do business with Pick of the Ricks!

Saddles fit great and eliminate the wonky side to side motion of the original saddles. It was easy to cut string grooves with some careful filing. Highly recommended.

My '86 4003 saddles were worn and the alignment to the pickup pole pieces has always been slightly off, especially the E string. The new saddles had a better machined tolerance to the originals and retrofit the track and bolt holes perfectly. I notched new string guide channels with the new alignment and set the intonation. There was no lateral movement to the saddles and the radius seamed to be a better match. I couldn't be more thrilled as my bass now has a more balanced output and fuller sound!
Many thanks to Pick Of The Ricks for their outstanding service and quality parts!!

Bought 2 of these a while back from Pick of the Ricks. I had rattle at the A string and I could not seem to get the action settings right either. The A string would buzz like crazy if I got the E string where it was supposed to be. Installed a new Saddle for the A string and used my Dremel tool to cut the string relief a little shallower than the original one. And then lowered the whole thing with the adjusting screw. Way better.
