Goes a looong way to getting that 60s tone!

Wow - I had already installed a cheap ceramic Radioshack 0.0047uF capacitor between the pickup switch and Treble Volume Pot. I had thought this already gave a great Vintage 60s tone. On a whim, I ordered the 0.0047uF capacitor from Pick of the Ricks and installed it. WOW! With the PoTR capacitor installed, it sounds so much better in terms of tone, i.e., richness, harmonics, etc. I really didn't think this swap would make such a difference. After all, isn't a capacitor just a capacitor? The prices aren't much different, but the PoTR cap is clearly better. I can't recommend it any more highly.
