Limited Edition Ed Sullivan Ignition Violin Bass. To commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Beatles appearance on the Ed Sullivan show Hofner has issued this limited edition instrument.
Features include the Ed Sullivan logo emblazoned on the pickguard in addition to the Ed Sullivan name on the back of the headstock.
A special finish completes this once in a lifetime bass.

Hofner Ed Sullivan Ignition Beatle Bass

This is very nice, well made bass. I also own a Hofner HCT bass and the Ignition holds it's own very nicely. The finish on the Ed Sullivan model is much more like McCartney's bass. And the flame maple on the back of mine is just beautiful. I used it on a gig recently after a quick set up, strap locks, and LaBella black nylon bass strings were installed, and it was excellent. Nice and deep sounding, light, comfortable, and fun to play. Hofner did this one up very well indeed. Very pleased. Thanks to Chris at POTR for great service!
