The CT Series guitars & Basses are based on Höfner originals of the sixties, seventies & eighties.
The Contemporary models however, are no yesterday's collectors' items, but designed for the tough live performance of today's guitarist.

Now the Contemporary version of the Club Bass is available and offers the famous Höfner bass-sound in an alternative cutaway design. The center block improves sustain. Original Höfner 'Staple-Top' pick-ups.

    I picked up a black one from Pick of the Ricks about a year and a half ago and it's been my favorite ever since. Great sound solo or with the band, easy play, thin neck, and light weight. What more could you ask for. Oh, and the semi-hollow body allows practice without an amp, even though I usually do plug in.
