  1. I think the strings feel light . they do not have the same feel or tone as orignal Ric strings.I orderd two sets and regret it.

It takes me quite a while to change strings on a ric 12 .As you can read in the above statement I'm not all that happy!

  2. Good replacement for the "Old" 95404 Rickenbacker Strings

Posted by Jersey City Ric 12-string Afficianado on 13th Jul 2012

I just put these on my '02 360/12 MG and they are a very good match to the old 95404 Ric strings that had the .042 gauge low E string. They fit perfectly without any adjustments (I had a worn out set of TI flats on previously). Intonation is good. They seem to hold their tuning well. They are "compressed roundwound" but their feel is closer to a roundwound than a flatwound IMHO. The sound is a little less bright than the Curt Mangan nickel set. The TI set is fuller sounding but also maintains the bright sparkle. Overall, a very nice set of strings and well worth the asking price.

  3. String replacements for Ric 360/12c63 that Rickenbacker doesn't stock anymore

Posted by Doc Mednick on 12th Jul 2012

Match the original strings on my 360/12c63 that at least right now you can't get anywhere else even from Rickenbacker themselves! The guitar restringing is another matter, hardest guitar I ever restrung, but these didn't break on me and sound great!

  4. Just like the real deal!

Posted by Unknown on 9th Jun 2012

These are exact replacements for the RIC strings that they stopped offering, and are the only strings for my 360 & 660 12s. So glad they offer them, thanks POTR!
